Graphics: Text and Fonts

Using fonts in a project:

  • Use one or two type families.
  • Match the attitude of the font to the topic, e.g. Comic Sans is a good sans-serif choice for something casual, while Garamond provides a semi-formal look with serifs.
  • Text Greeking - Dummy text for typesetting and layout

    Graphic Imagery

Incorporating appropriate graphics effectively will create a positive impression that compliments the content.

    Photography

The right photograph does more than illustrate a point. For the viewer, it captures an idea that is familiar and hopefully emotive. See the TCU Library's website for image resources suitable for presentation.
